27.04.05 – New Zealand champion Shane “The Mountain Warrior” Cameron is in top shape for his IBF Australasian heavyweight title fight against his Australian counterpart Colin Wilson in Auckland tomorrow night. The 27-year-old Cameron came in at 107.70kg at today’s weigh-in at the Cullen Sports boxing gym in Penrose today. His rival was a fraction more than 6kg heavier at 113.8kg.
The two fighters face off at the ASB Stadium in Kohimarama tomorrow night, the event being televised live on TV 3 from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.
The gym was packed with media for the weigh-in with Cullen Sports-managed Cameron supported by the entire playing squad, coaching staff and management from the Vodafone Warriors.
