12.06.05 - By Per Ake Persson: Cruiser Krzysztof Wlodarczyk stopped Brit John Keaton in four rounds in the headliner of Hammer Knockoutīs promotion. Keaton made a fast start and had the Pole under some pressure with heavy hooks to the body and a right hand over the top. Referee Slodek Kromka was quick to intervene as Keatonīs right didnīt land cleanly using the same interpretation of punching with the inside of the glove as they do in the amateurs..

Keaton even had a point deducted for this. Fair enough, even John admitted he wasnīt punching cleanly but he had his fist closed and wasnīt slapping. This gave Wlodarczyk, a slow starter, some time and in the third he found his rythm. Keaton was hurt and floored by sharp left hooks to the body and after two knockdowns he retired in his corner and didnīt come out for the fourth.

"He simply took the wind out of me, said Keaton, heīs a very hard puncher. "
