This will be John's second fight outside of Indonesia, and he is looking forward to putting on a show for the Australian audience; many of whom haven't seen "The Indonesian Thin Man" in action before.
To John's excitement the fight will be beamed back live on network SCTV in Indonesia. John, who trains in Western Australia with Craig Christian, also looks forward to returning home after this contest. Ideally, John would love the opportunity to defend his title in Indonesia next up if successful, although there have been some tempting offers from major promoters in the USA in recent weeks.
* Meanwhile, John's stablemate Daniel "The Rock" Dawson, 21-0 (14 KOs), will be in action on the undercard against "The Chainsaw" Josh Clenshaw, 22-13 (13 KOs). The bout will be a rematch of a close fought contest last December for the Australian middleweight title.
