Guilty Boxing Ink Ebo Elder

The 26-year-old Elder, ranked No. 5 by the WBA, is a crafty, left-handed boxer-puncher who has a record of 22-1 with 14 knockouts.
“We’re delighted to sign Ebo Elder, the brightest and fastest-rising star in the lightweight division,” said Jay Hassman, vice president of Guilty Boxing.
“I’m happy to be fighting not only in my hometown of Atlanta, but for the right to fight for the world championship, too,” said Elder.
“It’s a pleasure to be associated with Guilty Boxing,” said Jeff Zager, Elder’s manager. “For Ebo to fight for the right to go after a world championship in front of his hometown crowd in his first fight with Guilty Boxing, well, that’s an impressive accomplishment on the part of Guilty.”
The winner of the title-elimination bout is scheduled to meet current WBA lightweight champion Juan Diaz.
The card Sept. 16 in The Arena at Gwinnett Center near Atlanta, dubbed “Pride and Glory,” also features a heavyweight championship bout plus five World Kickboxing Association Mixed Martial Arts and Muay Thai title matches.
