Ben Rabah in IBF Eliminator

15.09.05 - By Harry Summers Jr.: Junior welterweight hopeful Naoufel Ben Rabah takes on the toughest and most important challenge of his 24-fight (23-1, 13 KOs) career when he faces hard-nosed Mexican Arturo Morua (22-6-1, 13 KOs) on Saturday in Las Vegas.. The fight - one of the feature attractions on the Barrera-Peden undercard - is an official IBF 140lb title eliminator. Rabah, a 2000 Tunisian Olympian now based in Western Australia, Australiam stopped dangerous but enigmatic Colombian Dario Jose Esalas in 7 rounds in his last outing.

The 27-year-old has been in Las Vegas over a week now, acclimatizing and making final preparations for his American debut. His team are confident "Chocolata" will catch the eye of many a boxing pundits this weekend with his smooth, flashy boxing style, and excellent reflexes.

Rabah's trainer and manager Craig Christian is aware that victory will put his charge in line for a decent money payday in boxing's most exciting division, and has made arrangements to stay in Sin City a week following the fight in anticipation of the many offers that will surely be coming his way.
