"I'm very dangerous and Tua is going to find out fast," said Salif. "I'm coming to smoke him."
Salif has sparred with many champions, including Mike Tyson, Hasim Rahman, Lennox Lewis, the Klitschko brothers and more. So, this young heavyweight is now among the boxing community, yet this will certainly be his biggest test to date. When Cissie was asked who do you think will win between Vitali Klitschko and Hasim Rahman fight, his answer was "Rahman is my friend, but I think Klitschko will win, said Salif. "You saw how Rahman did against Monte Barrett, and we all know his record; Klitschko
is a big guy, and I'll be surprised if the fight lasts three rounds."
Ike: What is your take on the Taylor-Hopkins 2?
Salif: I think Jermine Taylor will beat Hopkins once again. Taylor is very confident, and he may stop Hopkins this second time around.
Ike: What is your impression of David Tua?
Salif: He's a good fighter, but he wasn't impressive in his last fight. I honestly think he can't fight me like that, or he'll be in a lot of trouble. For the most part, I think his fights with Rahman were easy. I cannot be afraid of any fighter, including Tua. To tell you the truth, I can't wait for the fight. It's going to be a war, and I'm not John Ruiz, Michael Moorer or any of those guys. Even though, I'm an African, who cares about me? So I have to come and do my own thing. This is my job and that's what I'm coming to do.
Ike: What did you think of the Samuel Peter vs. Wladimir Klitschko fight?
Salif: I really don't think Peter was in good shape for that fight. I mean, he could have done a lot better than he did.
What's your take on this fight, People?
