Camp Notes: Robert "The Ghost" Guerrero

09.11.05 - Reports from camp Robert Guerrero (ranked # 2 WBC) say that “The Ghost” (16-0-19KO’s) is looking real sharp and will be in tremendous shape come Dec 2nd when he faces Gamaliel Diaz (19-5-2 9 KO’s) on SHOWTIME..

John Bray who trains the NABF featherweight champion Guerrero stated, “Everything is coming along just fine. We’re working on some new things and I’m very impressed with his progress. We’ve been sparring a Freddie Roach’s Wild Card gym with some of the best fighters in the world and I’m excited about this fight. I think everyone will be in for a treat come Dec 2nd.”

Bob Santos who is Roberts’s nutritionist and co-manager with Shelly Finkel said, “This is the best I’ve seen him look since I’ve been with him. The kid is looking phenomenal.” Expect a night of excitement from both warriors. Robert “The Ghost” Guerrero is undefeated and Gamaliel Diaz (ranked # 8 WBC) has not lost a fight since July of 2000.
