Dennis was lined up to fight on a show promoted by Anders Vester in June and have remained in training during the layoff.

The now 32-year old Dane fought his last fight for Team Palle back in 2001 and they parted ways just a courtcase was to begin. He challenged IBF 135 lb champ Paul Spadafora in 2002 losing on points. Dennis have also lost and won against tough Russian Boris Sinitsin in EBU titlefights.
