Minto - Batchelder Weigh-In at the Trop

07.06.06 - On Thursday June 8, Brian "The Beast" Mintro and Danny Batchelder will be at the Tropicana to weigh in for their heavyweight bout that headlines DUVA Boxing's Rumble at the Trop on Friday, June 9. The other fighters on the card will be on hand as well to weigh in. The media will have the opportunity to get the lowdown on all of the fighters the day before they square off in the ring..

On Friday night at the Trop, Brian "The Beast" Minto , on the verge of major contender status in the heavyweight ranks, will square off against Danny Batchelder, another top up and comer. Minto, the pride of Butler, PA, and Batchelder, a Saratoga, NY native now fighting out of Phoenix, AZ, have amazingly put forth identical 24-1 career ring records, as they both look to ascend the heavyweight ranks. Minto, fresh off a Friday Night Fights win over Billy Zumbrun, has 14 career knockouts, and is riding the crest of a six fight win streak. Batchelder, a winner of four straight, has 11 career KO's.

Undefeated local sensations will fill out the bill, as Chuck "The Professor" Mussachio (6-0, 3 KO's), the Wildwood, New Jersey teacher, mixes it up in a six rounder junior middleweight contest.

Bridgeport, Pennsylvania's sensational light middleweight Harry Yorgey (13-0, 7 KO's) will also be on the card in a six rounder, giving his Pennsylvania fans the opportunity to ride to the shore to watch the spectacular youngster put his unblemished record on the line.
Atlantic City welterweight Lorenzo Bethea (5-2) gets the chance to show his wares in his hometown, while Jersey City's young knockout artist and two time Golden Glove champion Raymond Biggs (3-0, 3 KO's) will also be on the card.
