Minto not looking past Sample!

07.08.06-This Friday night August 11th at the Mountaineer Race Track in Chester, WV heavyweight hopeful Brian Minto 25-1 (14 KO’s) will step in against all around journeyman Andy Sample 34-13-2 (22 KO’s) in a scheduled six round heavyweight bout. All though the ‘Sand Man’ has lost seven out of his last ten matches via knock out Minto isn’t over looking his opponent, “This is a big fight for me, if I can win this fight and look good doing it then my next fight will be one of my biggest, so yes I am trying to stay busy and am taking a risk but I am definitely going to take care of business this Friday night,” explains Minto..

Minto best known for his knock down drag outs against tough New Yorker Vinny Maddalone has had two fights this year defeating Billy Zumbrun (8 R. UD) and most recently Danny Batchelder (10 R. UD) both which were featured on ESPN 2, and will be on the non televised under card of the Monty Meza Clay vs. Dean White which is the main event for ESPN 2 FNF.
