Aaron Williams Joins Chris Byrd Camp

“This is a great opportunity for Aaron to work and learn from one of the slickest guys in boxing.”
“We are very happy that Aaron is working with Chris Byrd,” said co-manager Albert Falcon. “This is another step in Aaron’s development on his way to the top of the cruiserweight division.”
According to co manager Patrick Doljanin, Williams will be busy the next two months. “Aaron will be back in the ring in December and again in January. 2007 should be a break-out year for Aaron. He’ll be fighting for the WBC Youth Title and I’m sure a regional belt by year’s end.”
In his last bout, November 2nd, the 20 year-old Williams stopped Mike Word in round two round of a nationally televised bout on the VERSUS Network.
As an amateur, Williams was a 9-time national champion and a Bronze medalist at the U.S. Olympic Trials. He is trained by former WBA Light Heavyweight Champion Eddie Mustafa Muhammad and managed by Albert Falcon and Patrick Doljanin of Warehouse Boxing, LLC.
