Scott Harrison Cleared To Defend Title

21.11.06 - Scott Harrison's WBO World Featherweight title defence against Nicky Cook is back on the ExCeL show on December 9. Following stringent medical and psychological examinations by British Boxing Board of Control physicians, Harrison has finally being declared fit to box. Scotsman Harrison, who had been in training whilst in jail in Spain, is now clocking up round-after-round of sparring in his Glasgow gym. Cook is currently in Tenerife where he is running and training at high altitude in preparation for a tough fight..

Cook said, "I'm delighted to hear that Harrison cleared to fight now. To be honest, I've trained up until now with the mindset that the fight has always been on. I've focused on nothing by Harrison since this fight was announced and now I'm just focused on winning the world title on the night."
