LAS VEGAS (November 20, 2006) -- Up-and-coming welterweight prospect Alexis Camacho (13-0, 12 KO’s) completely dominated the action last night en route to a third round knockout at the Auditorio Municipal in Torreon, Mexico last night. The undefeated Camacho stalked and battered his opponent for the first two rounds before finally ending it in the third stanza..
Camacho is a former two-time Mexican National Amateur Champ who now holds 13 professional victories accompanied by 12 knockouts. The deadly power of Camacho is evident as last night he scored his 12 consecutive KO. Although Camacho is still young he feels he should be ready for the big time in the near future.
"This kid has the talent and natural ability not to mention the pop to contend with the best in the business," Camacho’s manager Lou Mesorana said. "Alexis has all the right elements to become a real superstar in the game."
Camacho looks to remain as active as possible and plans to fight at least 5-6 times in 2007. It should be a stellar year in the making for this hard punching welterweight and at an age of only 25 he will be sure to capture the imagination of the public and dazzle them with his precision power punching for some time to come.
