Ibragimov-Briggs! Atlantic City! Sultan reacts to news!

sultan ibragimov27.11.06 - By Izyaslav “Slava” Koza: Well, it’s now official and Sultan and Shannon should be getting it on barring any unforeseen “issues” on the aforementioned date in the aforementioned state. Sultan and his manager Boris Grimberg had the following to say regarding the news:

Sultan Ibragimov: I am just very happy. I hope nothing will get in the way of the fight like injuries, to either me or Briggs, and that it happens as it should. I am just very happy about it is all.

Boris Grimberg: Sultan’s promoter (Warriors, GBP, Golden Grain) won the purse bid and we are happy about it. We knew we had to offer enough money for Briggs to agree. If there isn’t enough money on the table, it’s not worth it and that might be used as the reason for the champ to avoid the fight.

We are still in negotiation regarding the televising of the bout but the important thing is that Briggs will come to fight.
