Arena-Box-Promotion and OPI 2000 start cooperation

28.11.06 - Ahmet Oener and Salvatore and Christian Cherchi declared that Arena Box-Promotion and the Italian promoter OPI 2000 will start a cooperation. They will together host events in Germany and Italy. "With OPI, we found a strong and reliable partner," said Oener. "This cooperation helps us to establish "Arena" as a big brand in the international boxing market."

"Arena is the right German partner for OPI: a young and fast growing promotion with great perspectives for the future," said OPI-founder Salvatore Cherchi who manages fighters like Silvio Branco, Pietro Aurino and Cristian Sanavia. "We are are looking forward to a long and successful partnership."

Both promotions hope that the partnership will help them to lead their young fighters to the top of world. Oener and Cherchi agreed on the cooperation while planning the WBC International Championship between arena-fighter Mahir "Lion" Oral and OPI’s Domenico Spada in Hamburg on December 15th.
