Dominick Guinn vs. Kirk Johnson: In The Works!

HOSTOUN, TX (January 2nd, 2007)-Final preparations are being made for a scheduled ten round bout between former heavyweight contenders Dominick Guinn 27-4-1 (18 KOs) and Canadian born boxer Kirk Johnson 36-2-1 (26 KOs) which is attentively set to take place February 16th at the Playboy Mansion in Los Angeles, CA and be aired on Fox Sports Net.

Both heavyweights are looking for that definitive win to throw them back in the heavyweight picture, and this is the opportunity that Arkansas native Dominick Guinn has been waiting on since losing out to Tony Thompson this past June. I am happy that my promoter Goosen Tutor is keeping me busy, I am coming off of a win and I am still young and I like to fight, I am just happy to be coming back and to go out there and do what I have to do to win!

Guinn is coming off a Split Decision victory over tough journeyman Zack Page this past December which was held on the under card of the Jermain Taylor vs. Kassim Ouma middleweight championship clash in Little Rock, Arkansas.
