Lang had hoped to have Morrison fight this Friday night in a four-round bout, but has stated that Morrison injured his hand sparring last Saturday and will need to have a x-ray. They will continue to pursue the license in the hopes that Morrison will fight in February, barring serious injury to the hand. Montano has also stipulated that due to his age, he will also need to see Morrison spar before any sort of consideration can be made for a license.
Morrison has not fought in ten years after testing positive for HIV, which he is now claiming was a false-positive. Morrison has had many troubling incidents outside the ring, including prison time. His professional record is 46-3-1.
